AAPI Culture Fest
Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month at the 2026 AAPI Culture Fest x Civic Center NIGHT MARKET on Friday, May 22, from 5–10 p.m. at Civic Center Park. This free, family-friendly event features cultural performances, interactive community hubs, local AAPI food and drink vendors, art, and entertainment celebrating the diversity and creativity of Colorado’s AAPI communities. ECM Work Day - La Alma/Lincoln Park Neighborhood
Extreme Community Makeover is a movement of volunteers working in partnership with residents of Denver neighborhoods to complete home and neighborhood improvement projects that connect neighbors and build stronger communities.

19th Annual South Platte River Clean Up
On Saturday, May 9th Protect Our Rivers is rallying the community for the 19th Annual South Platte River Cleanup - a day where hundreds of people come together to protect and celebrate the river that flows through the heart of Denver. Each year more partners and people join us and we make a bigger impact.
Join us for an awesome day of river stewardship followed by an after-party with free beer, food, and big prize giveaways!

Lincoln Park Trash Clean Up
Come join us for the La Alma-Lincoln Park neighborhood trash clean up. Join us April 19th at 10 AM at 1043 Lipan St. for coffee and donuts before we break into teams and clean. It’s a great way to meet your neighbors, get some fresh air, and uncover some truly bizarre treasures—because one person’s trash is… still pretty weird trash.
We’ll have prizes for:
The most trash collected (go big or go home )
The strangest find (trust me, there’s always something)

Wash the City
Join the city Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 4 PM, where hundreds of volunteers, in partnership with the Denver, Lakewood, and Aurora Police Departments and sponsors like Waste Management of Colorado, will work together to clean up over 13 miles of Colfax Avenue to improve health, safety, and beautification across the tri-city area; after the large-scale cleanup effort, participants are invited to a fellowship meal with law enforcement and community partners, and volunteers can support the cause through signing up and optionally purchasing event merchandise like a special “Wash The City” t-shirt.
Operation Egg Hunt
Happening Saturday April 4th at Paco Sanchez Park. With egg hunts at 12 and 1pm. Your Denver police are partnering up with Councilwonan Torres' office to host a FREE spring egg hunt for kids of all ages! Bring your own basket and join us for a fun day of community.
Bunny Mania Eggstravaganza
Hop on over for a fun-filled evening at the Bunny Mania Eggstravaganza! Kids can enjoy an exciting egg hunt, snap a photo with the Easter Bunny, and search for the special Golden Egg for an egg-cellent surprise.

Small Area Plan Community Open House
The Burnham Yard Small Area planning team is hosting the next community open house on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at West High School (951 Elati Street, Denver) from 9 a.m. to noon. This drop-in event will offer interactive activities where you can share your priorities and preferences for how the Burnham Yard area should redevelop. No RSVP is required, but it’s helpful for event planning if you can let organizers know you’re coming. The Small Area Plan builds on community feedback from last fall and will help guide future development in and around the Burnham Yard site. St. Patrick's Day Parade
Join the Denver Mayor’s Office in celebrating one of the city’s favorite traditions at the 2026 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Denver. This year’s theme, “Stars, Stripes and Shamrocks!”, brings together Irish heritage, community pride, and festive fun for all ages. On Thursday, February 5, enjoy an intimate concert experience featuring local Denver artists Jake & Jubilee, a husband-and-wife duo known for soulful music that lives in the space between joy and honesty. Along with the performance, the evening will include an artist panel reflecting on the unseen influence of place on how we hear and how music can inspire us to better love the people and neighborhoods around us.

Dia de Muertos coincides with All Saints and All Souls Days, providing a time for families and friends to gather, pray for, and remember their deceased loved ones. During this multi-day celebration people create altars, called ofrendas, in their homes and public spaces. These ofrendas, adorned with cherished memorabilia, serve as a beautiful tradition to honor the lives of those passed, preserving memories and ensuring that the spirit of their presence remains alive in our hearts in a joyful celebration.
