Dia de Muertos
Dia de Muertos coincides with All Saints and All Souls Days, providing a time for families and friends to gather, pray for, and remember their deceased loved ones. During this multi-day celebration people create altars, called ofrendas, in their homes and public spaces. These ofrendas, adorned with cherished memorabilia, serve as a beautiful tradition to honor the lives of those passed, preserving memories and ensuring that the spirit of their presence remains alive in our hearts in a joyful celebration.
